There is a certain time in the day where Mosquitoes are less or even not active at all. Usually at sunrise and sunset there are several minutes where Mosquitoes simply disappear because they don't like a specific color of the sun. The reason is the sunrays in the bright yellow-orange light color.
The normal daylight is no guarantee that Mosquitoes will not attack.
Walking in the shadow of a forest or located from a sun protected area, for example inside a house, female Mosquitoes are also active.

The LED LITEC bulb produces the right light color within the LED Chip which is another safety aspect compared to other light bulbs only using a yellow cover to create a less effective orange light. Also electric Mosquito Killers are not the best solution.

Beside high energy consumption, those Mosquito Killers actually attract Mosquitoes and many other night active insects. Before the Mosquitoes find their way into the trap, they maybe bite several people before. Those traps also kill many useful insects in the process. The Mosquito traps are very maintenance intensive and require  daily cleaning.
